This week in class we were instructed to find and review different professional blogs and resources relevant to content related to our individual work as instructional design professionals. Being a technology education teacher three blogs sites that I have researched in the past are related to the field of education.
1) http://blog.ted.com/
This is blog is part of a professional community that is committed to sharing "Ideas Worth Spreading" (http://www.ted.com/pages/about) These blogs are posts from people in the on the cutting edge of their field. The three fields that TED is concerned with are Technology, Entertainment, and Design.
2) http://www.foreverblender.com/
The website listed above is a blog created to aid in developing skills using the video and interactive software called blender. This program is a free download and provides a tremendous amount of opportunity for students to gain skills in video game and multimedia manipulation.
This
last blog is a blog created by a teacher, Scott Snyder, and the process he has
and continues to go through in taking his class from the 20th
century to the 21st century.
